WHY

Why

WHY even start this “from-the-seat-of-my-pants” challenge called entrepreneurship? Well, it all started with a miracle followed by angel visits and a more heavenly life here on Earth:

The Miracle

Your mate ever set a super-hot pan on the counter and leave a big ‘ol burn spot on your brand new white quartz? Mine did! I tried soooo many solutions to get rid of that bad boy (the burn spot, not my husband!). I got really ticked about all the time and money spent trying to make this eyesore go away, but nothing worked until I was making pretzels one day.

My pretzel dip accidentally sprinkled onto the countertop leaving bright dots. My eyes got a little bigger and I thought, “Wow! That’s even whiter and brighter. So I sprayed all the countertops and the whole kitchen brightened up even more. Even the big brown burn lightened. “Hmmm, what if I let this soak on the stain overnight” I put some on the burn, went to bed, and Voila! next morning, it was gone like magic.

Pain point solved! Goodbye burns! Goodbye permanent marker! Goodbye food stains!

Angel Visits

A year after the “burn and brighten” episode, I held my mate’s hand as he took his last breath.

If you’ve ever been a caregiver for someone going through their “human-back-to-spirit” transition, then you probably know how sacred this time is. Even amidst the exhaustion and deep emotion, did you not also experience precious, profound moments that felt other-worldly?

You want a story that demonstrates what I’m talking about? If so, here’s one of many:

When we knew the cancer wasn’t going to allow too much more time for my mate to be in his body, a friend prepared a video to have ready for his memorial. The video started off with some archive footage of a funny office skit — my guy and a co-worker as Sonny and Cher singing “I Got You Babe.” Then the videographer continued to beautifully weave the actual Sonny & Cher song through the remaining pictures and memories. We viewed the video just days before he headed to higher realms.

We felt his spirit leave before the breathing stopped. While other family members were watching over his body, I was walking along the greenway behind our home. The quiet was interrupted by this loud noise approaching fast from behind. Most bicyclists and runners along the path have their ear-pods in, listening to music as they work out. But not this guy. Not this day. This day, there was a man, on his bicycle, with a boom box strapped to his basket, blasting his music for all the world to hear. And what song do you think was playing as he passed me by? … “Babe, I got you babe; I got you babe. I got flowers in the spring. I got you to wear my ring.” And the last lines I heard as he sped ahead: “And when I’m sad, you’re a clown; And if I get scared, you’re always around ….”

Heaven On Earth

After the memorial and all the strangely inappropriate but necessary administrative duties one has to take care of when someone dies (death certificates, credit card cancellations, final social media announcements, trust and will management, real estate, email accounts, bank accounts, insurance transfers, and ugh, ugh, ugh, on and on) … I went really deep and quiet for quite a while.

Our home became my sanctuary. For months I felt like I was walking in chest-deep mud. It seemed to take me 10X longer to do anything, and some days I just couldn’t make it to my plans at all. Life was forcing me to be still — forcing me to go from “doing” to “being” — so I went all-in.

I began each morning with meditation. Every day I wrote down all the things I was thankful for. I enrolled in an online spiritual quest to take a deeper look into my ways of being and how I wanted to bring more love. I went eyeball-to-eyeball with myself in the mirror and whispered sweet somethings. I became a lot less concerned about how others choose to live and focused on my choices instead. I made conscious efforts to listen better and to see the beauty in people better. These new practices and ways of being help me chill-out more, providing peace that propels me into more heavenly moments right here on Earth.

Tidy Whitey Gets Wings

I’m not sure what happened! The original thought was to give the world this stain remover and move on. In the making of the stain remover, other cleaning products naturally emerged. And then the inspiration hit me in the heart to help brighten peoples’ homes AND hearts by passing on some of this peace that passes all understanding.

If you’re feeling any grief, or frustration, or exhaustion, or pain, or disappointment, or unclarity, or sadness or insecurity or simply haven’t hit that sweet spot in your life yet, we’re here to remind you that:

  1. Our human hours don’t last forever. Now might be the perfect time to take this big precious life of yours and dive into the stuff that lights you up.
  2. There’s a great big sea of love all around you. And there are angels floating with you, delighting in you and thanking their lucky stars they get to love you and nudge you.
  3. When you tune into this love more-and-more, the peace, ease, abundance, clarity, expectancy, joy, security and sweetness that spring forth really RRRROCKS!

Tidy is a symbol of one of these angels. Did my mate have adorable dimples? Definitely! Could my mate rock a pair of tighty whities? Oh Yeah! Did I have fun creating Tidy — a dimply angel, rocking’ his tighty whities? Totally!

So gather your angels! Here we go! Feel free to come grow with us. And, no matter what, LET YOUR BRIGHT SHINE!

Many Blessings, Beautiful One!
